We carefully review each application and pair mentors with the mentees.
How does the matching work?
Matches are carefully hand-paired based on needs and interests.
What are my responsibilities?
We require meeting once a month for 6 months. After that period your relationship is yours to enjoy!
What happens if I can’t fulfill my duties?
Please contact Stacey and we’ll help coordinate a new match.
Do I need to be located in New York to participate?
Priority is given to those in the New York area, but we accept applicants from around the world.
What else do I get if I am accepted?
Mentors and mentees have access to select AIGA NY events and network of professionals.
What years of experience are allowed as mentees?
There is no maximum. We encourage a mix of individuals who are early in their career, or looking for a career shift.
What years of experience are allowed as mentors?
Mentors generally have 5+ years in their respective field, but we take into consideration work experiences and the quality of work shown in applicant’s resume.
